Noida Extension to develop waste-to-energy plant

The Noida Extension Authority is likely to built a waste-to-energy plant — the district’s first solid waste management plant — from the Sector-123 division of NOIDA-EXTENSION.IN
Every day, the district produces over 300 tonnes of municipal waste. But inside absence of a competent waste management system or even a designated landfill,for better noida extension view the disposal in this waste is really a major problem for Noida Authority and Greater Noida Authority.

Previously, the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest had deemed the handling of disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW) from the city as “unsatisfactory” together submitted a written report to the National Green Tribunal, proclaiming that no scientific method was put in place with the Authority for your disposal of MSW.

Officials said following project’s Expression of Interest (EOI), four companies had qualified to the project and they might be making their presentations from the coming week. According to your Authority, a 100-acre plot has become earmarked to the project in Greater Noida’s Pali area plus the project has gotten environmental clearance.

However, officials said the project could be affected by protests in the residents inside the area, who may have already expressed their dissatisfaction together with the project.

“The problem of residents protesting has become a long-standing issue. Even though land may be repeatedly earmarked for landfills inside the past, they’ve not been built on account of pressure from residents. We expect that to remain, but it’s crucial that you come to a preliminary understanding with resident — because an issue that should be resolved quickly,” the state said.
